Blue Cross Blue Shield Thanks You For Your Service The Game

This game is playable as a google sheet, it was created in a few hours for the first potluck jam for the theme "A world where there are only 9 phone numbers".

Unfortunately, due to the way that appscripts work on google sheets, the only way to make the original playable is to let anyone edit the games code for all other players, which is quite unsafe.

As a result the game must be copied into the users account to be playable.

Install

Unfortunately in-order to be safe there's a very annoying process to get this game running.

Navigate to this link and copy the game into your account:

After making a copy on your accounts drive you will be asked to give the sheet permission to run in your account.

You'll notice that the developer listed here is your own account, not mine. After copying into your drive, the game runs under your account as the developer.

Click through to advance to get to the allow page.

After this you should be finished. Sorry google makes this so annoying, for some reason I don't think the expect people to ship games like this!

If you're curious how the game works, or want to check that its not doing anything strange before running it, you can view the source after making a copy of the sheet.

Navigate to extensions-> apps script.

This will take you to the editor where you can view the full javascript and all text for the game.

Feel free to copy or edit it although it honestly runs terribly so I'm not sure why you'd want to.
